Responsibilities

Lead generation and conversion for container shipments and one-off projects; develop partner networks and attend industry trade fairs; manage operational container shipment routes including coordination with disposal and recycling facilities, documentation, and invoicing; monitor and renew Basel Convention notifications; co-lead TFS strategy and operations; mentor consultants; engage with partners, clients, and competent authorities; maintain CRM and support automation efforts to scale the department.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Business Development, International Trade, or related field; 5+ years international business development, sales or project management experience ideally in hazardous waste, environmental consulting or logistics; track record of closing deals and managing projects end-to-end; fluent English required; additional languages (German, Spanish, French, Arabic) advantageous; familiarity with Basel Convention, EU Waste Shipment Regulation, ADR/IMDG regulations preferred; strong Microsoft 365, CRM and openness to AI-supported workflows; excellent organizational, communication, and cross-cultural skills; entrepreneurial and intellectually curious mindset.
