Responsibilities

Manage all event service, banquet, and event technology operations and staff daily. Develop and implement business plans and strategies for event operations, establish departmental goals, and enforce standards and policies. Oversee event logistics and administrative processes, ensure maintenance and safety compliance, and maximize revenue and profit by managing budgets and costs. Lead event operations teams, coordinate with culinary and HR departments, and maintain relationships with guests, clients, vendors, and other property departments. Conduct human resources activities including staffing review, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures. Participate in audits and ensure staff certification compliance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 4 years of experience in event management, food and beverage, sales, or related areas; or a 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field with 2 years of relevant experience. Proven leadership and operational skills in event management with a strong focus on customer service and financial performance.
