Responsibilities
Provide on-site technical support during installation, commissioning, testing, and handover of BESS projects; supervise installation activities ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards; perform system commissioning and grid connection; resolve technical issues on-site; support project acceptance and final technical handover; respond to customer technical inquiries with remote or on-site support; troubleshoot hardware, software, communication, and system performance issues; manage after-sales service activities and documentation; coordinate with engineering, product, and sales teams for efficient issue resolution; deliver customer training on system operation and maintenance; handle customer complaints professionally; collect feedback for product improvements; maintain up-to-date technical knowledge; support spare parts and service tool management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Renewable Energy, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field; 2-6 years’ experience in field service, commissioning, or technical support within BESS, photovoltaic power systems, or electrical infrastructure; strong knowledge of electrical systems, inverters, BESS, or power conversion; proven skills in electrical installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and interpreting electrical diagrams; knowledge of grid connection regulations and electrical safety standards preferred; experience with utility-scale or commercial renewable energy projects is a plus; professional working proficiency in English and Italian (C1); valid driver’s license; ability to work independently under demanding site conditions; excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills; willingness to travel extensively.
