Responsibilities

Create and optimize high-quality 3D assets including environments, props, characters, and textures aligned with artistic vision and technical constraints. Collaborate with level designers and technical artists to integrate assets efficiently into the game engine. Maintain performance standards by optimizing models for real-time rendering. Ensure visual consistency and uphold a high-quality bar across all assets. Work with the Art Director to refine artistic pipelines. Stay current with industry trends, new tools, and techniques in 3D modeling, procedural workflows, and material creation.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience as a 3D Artist in the gaming industry with at least one shipped title in a senior role. Proficient with Blender, Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Photoshop, and Unreal Engine 5, especially material creation and Nanite/Lumen workflows. Strong skills in PBR texturing and shader/material pipelines. Experience adapting and integrating existing assets while maintaining quality and optimizing for performance. Solid understanding of game-ready topology, UV mapping, and LOD creation. Passionate about immersive worlds and procedural generation techniques. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for onsite teamwork. EU work authorization required. Nice to have experience includes procedural asset generation (Houdini, Substance Designer), animation rigging, medieval/survival game aesthetics, and AI-driven NPC world-building.
