Responsibilities
Lead technical qualification and solution design for banking sales opportunities across Western and Central Europe. Deliver technical product demonstrations and Proofs of Concept to treasury, custody, compliance, and infosec teams within banks. Manage RFP, RFI, and due diligence responses ensuring compliance alignment. Engage with bank engineering teams on API integration and operational workflow design. Collaborate with Sales Directors to develop technical account plans and contribute to deal strategy. Act as the banking client voice in internal product discussions and contribute reusable technical content. Support handoff to Professional Services and participate in EMEA SE enablement programs.
Qualifications
3-8 years of experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, or technical consulting within regulated financial institutions, particularly Tier 1 or Tier 2 banks. Proven ability to manage complex enterprise sales cycles and deliver technical pilots or Proofs of Concept in banking environments. Experience responding to RFPs and collaborating with procurement, legal, and infosec teams. Technical knowledge of institutional banking architectures (core banking platforms, custody, post-trade settlement), financial messaging standards (ISO 20022, SWIFT), and API integration methods. Understanding of cryptographic key management and regulatory requirements relevant to digital asset operations (such as MiCA and DORA). Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with senior bank executives. Fluency in English required; knowledge of a European language is advantageous.
