Responsibilities
Own and develop the comprehensive People & Culture strategy and employee experience, including recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, development, and offboarding processes. Build and nurture a high-performance culture across a remote, distributed team, implementing clear expectations and feedback mechanisms. Modernize and automate HR processes using AI and data analysis to enhance efficiency and employee satisfaction. Lead a small team across people operations, recruitment, and learning & development. Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on talent, performance, and organizational design. Manage people-related budgeting, controlling, and reporting in collaboration with Finance. Strengthen remote-first internal communications and contribute to building scalable HR frameworks.
Qualifications
Proven experience building or improving people functions within high-growth or remote organizations, combining strategic leadership with hands-on execution. Demonstrated success in driving performance management, culture development, and talent growth, particularly in distributed teams. Pragmatic, autonomous, and capable of managing multiple priorities concurrently. Fluent in English. Preferably experience with scale-up environments, people analytics, knowledge of German labor law and multi-country European remote setups, and familiarity with automation workflows and AI in HR contexts.
