Responsibilities

Support the Data Protection Officer by identifying, assessing, and managing data protection risks; monitor legal developments and implement necessary measures; maintain data protection policies and oversight frameworks; lead reporting on data protection matters; coordinate with governance bodies; monitor compliance and effectiveness of data protection processes; advise on privacy requirements including data breach handling and DPIAs; promote data protection awareness and training; engage with supervisory authorities and external stakeholders; deputize for the DPO as needed.

Qualifications

Degree in law, information governance, data protection, computer science, or related field; extensive experience and expert knowledge of data protection law (EU GDPR, Singapore PDPA, DIFC Data Protection Law); experience in multinational environments; strong analytical, conceptual, and stakeholder management skills; excellent English communication; ability to act independently with high professional integrity; experience in information security is advantageous.
