Responsibilities

Direct and motivate banquet team to provide excellent service; monitor financial and administrative responsibilities; manage banquet operations such as supply projections, inventory control, adherence to laws and sanitation standards; schedule and lead banquet staff; develop relationships with groups to retain and grow business; conduct team meetings and training; act as liaison to kitchen staff; engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve complaints; implement continuous improvement strategies; oversee safety and emergency procedure training; provide employee feedback and support corrective action plans.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; minimum two years of experience in event management, food and beverage, or a related professional area. Strong leadership and communication skills, knowledge of food and wine pairings and current event trends, ability to manage inventories and control costs, experience in customer service and staff scheduling, commitment to diversity and inclusion.
