Responsibilities

Contribute to developing and maintaining software for core customer-facing products. Extend and maintain critical business applications. Shape actionable requirements from complex business problems. Promote experiment-driven innovation and improve developer experience by reducing technical debt and automating processes. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers in an agile environment. Utilize backend technologies such as Ruby on Rails, Node.js, NestJS, and frontend frameworks including React and Next.js. Engage with cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.

Qualifications

Enrolled at a German university with at least two semesters remaining in computer science or a related field. Ability to work 20 hours per week. Experience writing maintainable, testable, reusable code preferably with TypeScript and related back-end or full-stack technologies. Basic understanding of RESTful API design and maintenance. Agile and results-oriented mindset, strong teamwork skills, enthusiasm for new challenges. Excellent English communication skills; German language skills are a plus. Residency in Germany. Bonus points for experience in the energy industry or start-up environments.
