Responsibilities
Operate, maintain, and improve pilot plants and experimental setups for direct air capture technology; develop and adjust 3D CAD models and technical drawings; interpret and work with process and instrumentation diagrams; support mechanical integration of plant components; contribute ideas for system improvements; take on increasing ownership of tasks over 12 months.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Chemical, Process, Mechanical Engineering or related fields; solid understanding of process engineering and fluid mechanics; proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Fusion, Inventor) and ability to read P&IDs; proactive and hands-on approach; available approximately 20 hours per week. Experience with pumps, piping, solid-liquid separation, or exposure to sustainability or DAC technologies is a plus. German language skills beneficial but not mandatory.
