Responsibilities
Support mechanical and structural design using CAD software (OnShape). Assist in prototyping, 3D-printing, and mechanical assembly of UAV components. Contribute to integration and testing of propulsion, flight control, and avionics systems. Prepare and conduct prototype flight test campaigns. Collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines including aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, and systems engineering.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. Proficient in CAD software such as OnShape or Solidworks. Experience with prototyping and 3D-printing. Familiarity with FEM or CFD tools is a plus. Hands-on experience with UAVs, RC aircraft, or aerospace student projects is advantageous. Maker mindset with comfort in shopfloor activities including soldering, assembling, and testing. Strong communication skills with fluency in English; German or other languages are a plus.
