Responsibilities
Prepare and configure laptops and IT equipment; maintain accurate inventory and asset records; manage hardware lifecycle processes including receiving, shipping, storage, and disposal; assist with stock management and inventory audits; handle basic IT support requests and service desk tickets; assist employees with common hardware and software issues; escalate complex issues; support onboarding and offboarding including equipment handover; assist workplace setup and meeting room technology checks; update documentation and knowledge base; perform data entry and asset administration; help maintain operational standards and support IT projects; organize IT workspaces and equipment.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled at a university or higher education institution; interest in IT Operations, End User Services, or workplace technology; basic understanding of Windows, macOS, and common workplace applications; strong organizational skills and attention to detail; willingness to learn and take ownership; structured and reliable work style; good communication and interpersonal skills; service-oriented mindset; ability to work independently and collaboratively; English proficiency; candidates must have legal right to work in the UK; on-site presence required three days per week.
