Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain automation scripts and internal tools using Python, JavaScript/Node.js, or Bash. Support and improve CI/CD workflows for software components. Develop webhook-based integrations between development, monitoring, and collaboration tools. Build lightweight backend services or dashboards for system status monitoring. Work with Linux command-line environments and troubleshoot system processes. Utilize Docker containers for packaging and testing services. Interact with REST APIs and handle event-driven workflows. Document technical designs and operational procedures clearly. Collaborate closely with Platform, DevOps, software engineering, QA, and integration teams. Apply production-minded engineering practices focusing on reliability, maintainability, automation, and ownership.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related technical fields, eligible to work as a Werkstudent in Germany. Practical knowledge of Linux and command-line usage. Experience with Git version control and conflict resolution. Programming or scripting experience in Python, JavaScript/Node.js, Bash, or similar. Understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, JSON, and authentication mechanisms. Familiarity with Docker and container concepts. Some exposure to CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions via projects or internships. Ability to write clear technical documentation in English. Curiosity and motivation to work in a production-like environment. Beneficial skills include experience with webhooks, backend frameworks, Linux system administration, messaging systems, testing and monitoring tools, and an interest in robotics or embedded systems.
