Responsibilities

Profile CPU, GPU, memory, and network performance across PC and consoles. Optimize Unreal Engine 5 systems including Nanite, Lumen, World Partition, physics, AI, animation, and networking. Integrate and fine-tune upscaling technologies such as DLSS, FSR, and TSR to maximize performance while preserving visual quality. Improve rendering pipelines, level-of-detail systems, asset streaming, and lighting setups. Collaborate with designers, engineers, and artists to balance game fidelity and performance. Develop tools and workflows for automated performance testing. Support platform-specific optimizations for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of game development experience with at least one shipped title on PC or console. Deep knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 profiling tools and optimization workflows. Strong skills in GPU optimization including materials, shaders, lighting, and draw calls. Experience with CPU-side optimizations in AI, physics, and networking. Familiarity with upscaling solutions such as DLSS, FSR, and TSR and their effects on rendering pipelines. Bonus experience includes working on large-scale survival, RPG, or open-world games.
