Responsibilities
Develop, adapt, and implement novel thin-film processes and technologies such as evaporation, CVD, and ALD for MEMS sensor applications on 300 mm wafers. Manage the transfer of new MEMS processes and equipment from research to automated production lines. Build collaborations with research institutes and equipment suppliers to support industrialization and volume manufacturing. Lead feasibility studies, economic evaluations, and cost assessments of new processes and equipment. Plan, execute, and evaluate experiments, coordinating analyses with manufacturing and process integration teams. Act as a key expert within an interdisciplinary team, collaborating closely with front-end manufacturing and process integration.
Qualifications
Several years of relevant professional experience or a PhD in semiconductor technology, surface physics, surface chemistry, or process engineering. Strong understanding of physical principles and semiconductor manufacturing. Knowledge of analytical techniques like ellipsometry, XPS, and surface energy measurements is advantageous. Excellent English language skills are required; German is beneficial. Completed university studies (Master's, Diploma, or PhD) in engineering, physics, chemistry, material science, or related fields. Enthusiastic, creative, assertive, and able to work systematically and effectively under pressure with strong teamwork skills.
