Responsibilities

- Execute hardware system tests based on internal and external requirements and standards for industrial communication systems. - Collaborate with international R&D teams to specify and implement industrial communication protocols. - Ensure internal product certification and support external certification processes. - Define and implement interoperability test strategies for industry assets and solutions. - Support creation and enforcement of general rules, requirements, and internal standards through interoperability and certification testing. - Participate in onboarding and innovative proof-of-concept projects.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Computer Engineering, or a comparable apprenticeship. - Good knowledge of communication systems in automation technology, such as EtherNet/IP. - Experience in automation technology including device integration into software products. - Knowledge of PLC programming languages. - Curiosity to discover and apply new technologies. - Fluent written and spoken English; German language skills are advantageous but not required.
