Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and technical documentation to define test objectives and strategies - Design and maintain test plans and cases for manual and automated testing - Develop and optimize regression test suites - Implement automated testing solutions and enhance automation frameworks - Monitor and report quality assurance metrics - Collaborate with development, support, project management, and business teams - Stay updated on emerging testing tools and methodologies
Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Finance degree a plus) - 4-5 years of software testing experience with both manual and automation exposure - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Familiarity with trading and banking domains preferred - Experience writing automation scripts in Java - Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL - Knowledge of testing REST and FIX APIs and working in Unix/Linux environments - Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber - Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo) and version control systems (Git, Bitbucket) - Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
