Responsibilities
Own operational performance of cloud hosting services including availability, stability, capacity, cost management, and continuous improvement. Drive configuration and operational setup across hosting environments with partners. Manage vendor and partner relationships ensuring quality and delivery. Coordinate change and release management minimizing risk. Maintain documentation and operational readiness. Act as the security anchor ensuring baseline controls, secure configurations, compliance, and audit preparedness. Handle security topics such as identity and access, monitoring, vulnerability and incident management, and remediation follow-up. Optionally, take project or product responsibility for selected platform components.
Qualifications
Solid experience in IT service ownership, platform operations, and cloud hosting management with a service and reliability mindset. Strong understanding of information security fundamentals including controls, risk assessment, secure configuration, and incident/vulnerability coordination. Ability to work confidently with external partners and internal stakeholders without formal authority. Structured and documentation-oriented approach. Excellent communication skills in English; German language skills are beneficial. Familiarity with ITIL-like operating models, security frameworks, and regulated/audit environments. Experience in multi-entity collaboration and handling shared responsibilities.
