Responsibilities
Review literature and evaluate methodologies, data, publications related to sustainability risks; process and evaluate GIS and remote sensing data under guidance; prepare presentations and project documents; support project work within the GIS & Sustainability team.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled student in geography, geoinformatics, agriculture, forestry, agricultural economics, or related sustainability-focused studies; good knowledge of QGIS or ArcGIS; experience in geospatial analysis and geodata processing; programming knowledge (Python, R, JavaScript for Google Earth Engine) is advantageous; very good spoken and written English (minimum C1); ability to work independently and in international teams; proactive and detail-oriented work style; availability for 10-20 hours per week for at least one year; proficiency in common office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
