Responsibilities
Lead the technical direction and architecture for the Virtual Assembly Line (VAL) team focusing on growth and operations systems including MarTech, CRM, Payment, Fulfillment, and Installation. Own technical alignment and ensure execution across the team. Translate business and product requirements into scalable technical solutions. Design system and API architectures to integrate AI agents safely and effectively. Drive the team towards agentic engineering practices, balancing automation with human oversight. Mentor engineers to foster growth and build a high-performance engineering culture. Embed security and reliability as core customer values.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of hands-on software development experience with multiple programming languages. Proven expertise in architecting scalable, secure systems with a strong commitment to quality. Extensive experience designing and implementing APIs, including for automated consumers like AI agents. Agile and collaborative mindset with strong communication skills in English. Experience leading technical alignment and major workflow/tooling shifts, including automation strategies that ensure safety and accountability. Ability to own features from problem definition through to product delivery in collaboration with product managers and stakeholders. German language skills are a plus but not required.
