Responsibilities
Lead the technical direction of the AI engineering domain including mobile apps, energy data, and IoT platforms; ensure alignment of architecture with product strategy and oversee execution of technical decisions; set high technical standards and solve complex problems personally; translate business requirements into technical solutions; mentor and challenge engineering team members; build a high-performance engineering culture; embed security and reliability into systems; design systems and APIs for AI agents that self-correct; drive the shift to agentic engineering ensuring safe and accountable workflows; own AI system architectures powering energy management and tariffs.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in software development with multiple general-purpose programming languages; proven record in architecting scalable, secure systems with quality focus; proficient in API design and implementation; agile and result-oriented with strong collaboration skills; ability to communicate technical implications effectively to stakeholders; experience in driving technical alignment and decision-making in fast-paced environments; expertise in designing agentic systems with self-correcting APIs; experience leading teams through adopting agentic engineering workflows; background in architecting AI/ML-driven or data-intensive systems, preferably in energy or IoT contexts; strong English communication skills, German proficiency is a plus.
