Qualifications
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or related technical field. Minimum 5 years of software development experience and at least 2 years in engineering leadership. Strong backend development skills with Python, cloud technologies (AWS), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), infrastructure as code (e.g., CDK), workflow orchestration, and observability tools. Experience mentoring and growing high-performing teams with a leadership style empowering engineers' ownership of design and delivery. Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude and strategic technical coordination skills. Energy trading experience and AI adoption strategy experience a plus.
