Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with product development to set test requirements and specifications. Design testing frameworks for mechatronic components and systems. Develop software for test benches covering execution, data acquisition, database integration, and automation enhancement. Implement software concepts for long-term projects using Python and Linux systems.
Qualifications
Academic degree in software engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or related field. Minimum of 2 years professional experience in software design for mechatronic systems. Proficient in software design principles with programming experience in Python (preferred), MATLAB/Simulink (code generation), and C/C++. Experience with git version control, branching, releasing, and code reviews. Knowledge of requirements engineering, test-driven design, and software testing. Experience with test rig instrumentation, execution, and data processing. Familiarity with communication protocols like CAN, EtherCAT, and UART. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and database integration. Good grasp of operating system concepts in Windows and Linux including shell scripting and network communication. Fluent English skills and valid driver's license category B.
