Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain distributed, message-driven systems with high availability and fault tolerance critical for pricing. Navigate and contribute to a large codebase with clean code principles. Engage in Pair and Mob Programming, conduct code reviews, and improve system reliability, performance, and scalability. Utilize AI-assisted development tools responsibly to enhance productivity. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions, contribute to backlog refinement and prioritize features balancing quality and delivery pace. Participate in the on-call rotation.
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years experience as a Software Engineer with strong production-grade PHP skills. Experience with Platform or API products in microservices environments. Hands-on knowledge of message streaming technologies (Kafka or similar), Kubernetes, RESTful APIs, and AWS services. Ability to confidently work within large, established codebases. Strong product mindset with communication and stakeholder collaboration skills. Familiarity with AI-assisted software development. Knowledge of Revenue Management Systems architecture is a plus. Willingness to participate in on-call rotations.
