Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance C++ applications focused on safety and security platforms. Incrementally migrate existing C++ components to Rust, ensuring production-quality Rust code. Implement and optimize parallel processing pipelines on Linux systems. Collaborate with team members through code reviews and architecture discussions, resolving performance bottlenecks and concurrency issues. Help define and uphold engineering standards and evolve tooling and language use within the team.
Qualifications
3+ years of professional software development experience with strong C++ skills. Hands-on Rust development experience with understanding of Rust's ownership and concurrency models. Solid knowledge of parallel and concurrent programming patterns. Experience with Linux system-level APIs and tooling. Methodical approach to performance profiling and optimization. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. English proficiency sufficient for workplace communication; German is not required.
