Responsibilities
Build and maintain Python ETL data pipelines orchestrated on Apache Airflow and running on AWS ECS Fargate; develop and optimize a Redshift star-schema data warehouse including SQL transformation jobs and performance tuning; contribute full stack enhancements to an internal platform using Spring Boot (Java) backend and Vue.js frontend; implement end-to-end integrations with new ad-network and attribution partners; ensure job reliability through idempotent runs, logging, monitoring, and on-call support; participate in code reviews and write well-tested production code.
Qualifications
3-5 years professional software engineering experience with strong skills in at least two of Python, Java, and heavy SQL-based data work; proficient with SQL window functions, CTEs, and large joins, ideally in a columnar or MPP data warehouse such as Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery; experience building data pipelines with Python including API clients, data transformations, and testing; fundamentals of AWS including S3, IAM, and container or serverless compute services; familiarity with batch/scheduled data workflows such as Airflow; ability to read and modify typed backend codebases like Java Spring Boot; desirable skills include experience with Amazon MWAA, Redshift specifics, reactive Java (WebFlux), Vue.js/Nuxt, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, dbt, and a background in ad-tech data ecosystems.
