Responsibilities

Lead the establishment of operational, legal, financial, and organizational frameworks for a new sustainable agriculture-focused non-profit foundation. Validate and develop business and funding models ensuring financial viability and scalability. Design commercial frameworks to enable product sourcing and partner onboarding. Ensure end-to-end supply chain traceability and certification compliance. Define governance, legal structures, compliance, contracts, HR setup, and reporting frameworks. Build and manage partnerships across stakeholders including farmers, processors, and buyers. Develop impact measurement KPIs and reporting systems. Identify and mitigate potential risks. Drive fundraising through grants, donors, and corporate partners. Recruit and prepare the initial team for independent organizational launch.

Qualifications

Proven experience in founding or scaling ventures, non-profits, or foundations including governance, legal setup, hiring, and operations. Strong financial acumen including business modeling, unit economics, and blended finance models. Demonstrated success in fundraising and managing strategic partnerships with grants, donors, and commercial stakeholders. Expertise in sustainable agriculture, supply chain traceability, certification, or impact reporting. Experience managing diverse stakeholders such as corporates, NGOs, farmer organizations, and donors. Entrepreneurial and hands-on mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and building from scratch. Excellent external representation skills and passion for sustainable, regenerative agricultural systems. Based in Germany, fluent in English; German language skills are a strong advantage.
