Responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end transition activities of legacy IT solutions including migration to external and internal service providers, ensuring business continuity and minimal disruption. Oversee operational readiness, governance, and vendor performance. Act as primary liaison between service providers and internal stakeholders, manage executive reporting and steering committees. Drive organizational change management and communication plans. Manage workforce transition activities. Post-transition stabilization and continuous service improvement. Operationally steer decommissioning of legacy solutions aligned with transformation roadmap. Establish governance, incident management, and change request processes.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience leading complex IT outsourcing, shared services, or large-scale transition and transformation programs in international environments. Proven track record managing external service providers and offshore delivery models. Expertise in legacy system optimization and decommissioning. Experienced in cost optimization and efficiency improvements. Strong program/project management and governance skills. University degree in IT, Business Administration, Engineering or related field; advanced degree (MBA) preferred. Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, leadership presence, ability to influence and build trustful relationships. Business fluent in English; German language not required.
