Responsibilities

Define and implement test strategies and verification plans from requirements to release criteria. Plan and coordinate flight test campaigns for autonomous UAVs with professional test discipline. Set up bench tests, HIL environments, and integration rigs from subsystems to full vehicles. Conduct embedded and system debugging by isolating failures throughout firmware, flight stack, autonomy, and ground systems. Improve software, firmware, and configuration release and deployment processes ensuring version control and rollback capabilities. Develop methods to measure system reliability and maturity, integrating findings into design improvements. Support building and leading a high-performance test team over time.

Qualifications

Degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science, robotics or related fields, or equivalent hands-on expertise. 3-6 years experience in testing, verification, system integration, or debugging complex embedded or cyber-physical systems. Strong debugging skills with ability to analyze logs, telemetry, and stack traces. Experience with firmware release workflows, version control, and deploying software across distributed devices. Ability to implement structured, yet practical testing processes. Clear communication skills bridging software, hardware, and operations teams. Nice to have: background with UAVs/drones, CI/CD, test automation, and field operations.
