Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and verify software architecture and solutions for embedded medical devices according to specifications and regulatory standards. Collaborate with GUI designers, third-party suppliers, and cross-functional teams. Support project management by planning software-related tasks and gathering technical requirements. Troubleshoot software issues in production, sustain existing products, and ensure compliance with national and international medical device regulations. Create required documentation including requirements, risk analysis, and verification reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field with over 5 years of professional experience in GUI software engineering for embedded systems. Expertise in Qt/QML and embedded Linux (including kernel configuration, driver development, Yocto/Buildroot). Proficient in Ansi C, C++, and Python for tooling. Knowledge of microcontrollers, microprocessors, real-time operating systems (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, QNX), hardware concepts, and display technologies. Familiarity with regulatory standards ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820.30, IEC 62304, IEC 14971 and ALM tools such as DOORS, Polarion, or CodeBeamer. Strong problem-solving, teamwork skills and proactive attitude required.
