Responsibilities

Research and analyze communication between modern websites and browsers across the full request lifecycle; investigate browser fingerprinting, client verification mechanisms, and modern web technologies to ensure reliable web access; develop tooling for browser instrumentation, debugging, observability, and large-scale experimentation; translate research into production systems capable of operating at internet scale.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years experience as a software engineer in production backend or infrastructure systems; expertise in browser technologies including Chromium architecture, browser internals, lifecycle and navigation; experience with Chrome DevTools Protocol and browser automation frameworks such as Playwright, Puppeteer, or Selenium; strong knowledge of HTTP/1.1, HTTP/2, HTTP/3, TLS, DNS, cookies, browser storage, caching, redirects, session management, JavaScript execution, and client-side rendering; understanding of browser fingerprinting and characteristics; preferred experience includes browser engine development, reverse engineering web application behavior, developing internet-scale distributed systems, proficiency in Go, C++, Rust, or Python, and working with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure.
