Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and data-driven systems. Build new features and improve existing products and infrastructure. Design and operate microservices and event-driven architectures. Contribute to technical and architectural discussions and decisions. Ensure software quality, reliability, and performance. Work throughout the software development lifecycle with a "you build it, you run it" mindset. Collaborate with an international cross-functional team through code reviews and pair programming.
Qualifications
8+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in Java and/or Kotlin. Experience with Spring Framework and Hibernate. Proficient in PostgreSQL and/or Oracle databases. Skilled in designing and operating microservices and event-driven architectures. Hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, SNS, SQS, RDS, IAM. Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong software engineering best practices including automated testing, clean code, and SOLID principles. Experience with Domain-Driven Design and agile methodologies. Nice to have: experience with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Terraform, Helm, and prior technical leadership experience. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline is preferred.
