Responsibilities
Design and implement a scalable camera integration framework within a cloud-native robotics platform. Develop production-ready camera drivers, SDKs, and interfaces to facilitate future integrations. Collaborate with infrastructure, robotics engineers, product teams, and hardware partners to incorporate camera devices into the robotics ecosystem. Own architectural decisions and drive projects from concept to production, ensuring repeatable and maintainable solutions in Kubernetes environments.
Qualifications
Several years of backend engineering experience with Python or Go, strong API design and versioning skills, and familiarity with containerized software development and Kubernetes deployments. Demonstrated expertise in at least one domain: industrial camera integration, camera software or SDK development, or cloud-native hardware platforms with Kubernetes. Additional desirable skills include Kubernetes custom resources and controllers, hardware device management on Linux, media pipeline handling, experience with computer vision concepts, and background in robotics or industrial automation. Comfortable working autonomously and navigating complex architectural challenges.
