Responsibilities
Design and implement technical solutions covering development, testing, deployment, and documentation. Develop software components around AI cores such as services, APIs, and data pipelines using Python on Azure. Establish and improve CI/CD workflows, issue management, code reviews, automated testing, security checks, and release management. Ensure system operability including monitoring, security, failure recovery, and cost transparency. Provide technical guidance across teams and communicate architectural trade-offs to senior stakeholders.
Qualifications
8+ years of professional software engineering experience with production systems, preferably in product-oriented organizations with strong release discipline. Proficient in Python programming, Azure cloud services, containerization, infrastructure as code, and software development lifecycle tools and methodologies (e.g., Jira, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, automated testing, security scanning). Experience in system handover to operations teams or direct system operation. Exposure to generative AI or agentic systems is a plus. Excellent English communication skills required; German language knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory.
