Responsibilities
Design and develop high-performance, low-latency Rust services processing time-sensitive financial data. Implement robust and correct financial logic. Build and maintain real-time streaming data pipelines. Optimize CPU, memory, and network usage through profiling and benchmarking. Collaborate on API design, data models, and overall system architecture.
Qualifications
University degree in computer science, engineering, sciences or equivalent. Extensive Rust programming experience with knowledge of ownership, lifetimes, concurrency, async, and error handling. Experience with Docker, AWS, and Terraform. Strong understanding of systems thinking including latency, throughput, backpressure, and failure modes. Experience developing and deploying high-performance production services. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Familiarity with domain-driven design, distributed architectures, or financial services compliance is a plus.
