Responsibilities

Design and build latency-sensitive Rust services that handle high-frequency financial data and decision-making. Implement robust and testable financial logic with strict correctness guarantees. Build and maintain real-time streaming pipelines including event processing and feedback loops. Optimize system performance across CPU, memory, and network using profiling and benchmarking techniques. Collaborate with stakeholders on API design, data modeling, and overall system architecture.

Qualifications

University degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent qualification. Extensive experience with Rust including ownership, lifetimes, concurrency, async, and error handling. Proficiency with Docker, AWS, and Terraform. Strong systems thinking regarding latency, throughput, backpressure, and failure modes. Proven experience building high-performance and low-latency production services. Excellent analytical and communication skills tailored for engineering and product audiences. Familiarity with domain-driven design, distributed architectures, microservices, and financial compliance is a plus. Experience with AI-assisted coding tools is advantageous.
