Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain core components of the Internal Developer Platform including CI/CD pipelines, service templates, developer tooling, and cloud abstractions. Own platform defaults focusing on security, observability, and compliance. Drive platform adoption through usability and documentation improvements. Lead architectural decisions to optimize system throughput and reliability. Continuously improve developer workflows by reducing lead times and cognitive load. Collaborate with Product Managers, SREs, Security, and Engineering teams to align platform capabilities with organizational goals.
Qualifications
Proven experience as Senior Software or Platform Engineer working with internal platforms, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems. Expertise in Infrastructure as Code and automation. Strong understanding of security principles including identity/access management and secure defaults. Familiarity with modern delivery practices like CI/CD, trunk-based development, and container platforms (e.g., Kubernetes). Proficient in at least one general-purpose programming language such as Go, Python, or TypeScript. Systems thinking with ability to evaluate infrastructure impacts and pragmatic approach optimizing for adoption and reliability.
