Salary

Responsibilities

Develop real-time interventional imaging algorithms; work on image segmentation, registration, reconstruction, and fusion; apply and develop AI methods for medical imaging; contribute to C++ and Python software frameworks; lead technical work packages; plan and execute projects; collaborate with industry customers and research partners; convert research prototypes into commercial products; publish scientific results and present at conferences. The position requires occasional onsite work in Munich for hardware interaction, with overall remote work possible.

Qualifications

PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field; strong skills in C++ and Python; experience in medical image computing with modalities such as CT, MRI, or Ultrasound; proficiency with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch; strong problem-solving and communication skills; fluent English. Preferably, experience with ultrasound signal processing, beamforming, image-guided interventions, or surgical navigation is a plus.
