Responsibilities
Develop and deploy machine learning applications analyzing surgical video and sensor data to enhance surgical workflows. Work closely with software developers and ML engineers to build services that extract insights and enable safer surgical procedures. Handle all phases of the ML development lifecycle including requirements engineering, data processing, experimentation, model training, and deployment. Advance intelligent software components for surgical procedure analysis, and contribute creative ideas to impact medical professionals worldwide.
Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science, natural sciences, or related field. Over 3 years of professional experience with modern machine learning methods and classic computer vision for image processing tasks. Proficient in ML tooling such as experiment management, containerization, orchestration, processing pipelines, and data version control. Strong software development skills in Python and/or other languages. Experience in cloud environments (ideally AWS) is a plus. Experience with AI-based med tech products or PhD in relevant area is advantageous.
