Responsibilities
Lead government affairs strategy and engagement with EU and UK public sector leaders. Grow and mature the government affairs program to educate policymakers and craft favorable regulations. Develop government affairs products for internal and external stakeholders. Advise leadership on policy developments and strategic planning. Build and maintain relationships with policymakers and third-party influencers, including think tanks and civil society. Represent the company publicly through publications and speaking engagements. Collaborate closely with internal teams such as legal, compliance, security, product, and sales. Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications
Over 10 years of experience in advocacy, public policy, or government affairs across government, military, consulting, thought leadership, or in-house roles. Deep knowledge of technology policy trends in cybersecurity, cloud, cross-border data flow, digital trade, AI, competition, and public sector procurement. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex regulatory matters. Strong interpersonal, negotiation skills, and government contacts. Legal right to work in the job's country without visa sponsorship.
