Responsibilities

Own and develop the embedded firmware stack end-to-end, from prototyping to testing to release and iteration. Design and optimize embedded software for microcontroller-based systems focusing on reliability and performance. Develop and refine open- and closed-loop control systems for haptic and pneumatic actuation. Build deep expertise in SMA-based hardware to continuously improve system behavior. Implement real-time sensor processing to enable interactive user experiences.

Qualifications

Several years of experience in embedded software development on shipped products. Strong proficiency in C/C++ on resource-constrained microcontrollers with real-time and RTOS experience. Knowledge in control engineering including PID control, actuator or pneumatic system experience, BLE, and embedded signal processing. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Physics, or related field, or equivalent experience. Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset comfortable with ownership and fast iteration. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Curiosity for new technologies with confidence in using AI tools in workflows.
