Responsibilities
Design and develop electrical systems and PCBs for complex robotic systems. Select and integrate electronic components such as motors, drivers, sensors, and power systems. Create schematics, PCB layouts, and wiring diagrams. Develop and maintain documentation including BOMs, test procedures, and compliance reports. Troubleshoot electrical issues, collaborate with mechanical and software teams, implement power distribution and safety circuits, support manufacturing during production, conduct signal integrity and EMI/EMC analysis.
Qualifications
Proven hands-on experience in PCB design for robotics systems. Strong expertise in motor control systems (BLDC) and proficiency with tools like Altium. Experience with embedded systems design including microcontrollers and FPGAs. Knowledge of power electronics and sensor integration. Familiarity with communication protocols such as EtherCAT, CAN, Ethernet, SPI, and I2C. Ability to perform signal analysis and debugging using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers. Understanding of safety standards for high-voltage/current applications and thermal management of power electronics. Beneficial to have experience with articulated mechanisms, real-time control systems, lightweight power solutions, wireless power/data transmission, and failure mode analysis.
