Responsibilities

Design, develop, and validate safety circuits and fail-safe mechanisms; review schematics and designs; develop and utilize in-house testing devices; select and integrate electronic components including motors, drivers, sensors, and power systems; contribute to product schematics and design; maintain electrical documentation such as BOMs, test procedures, and compliance reports; troubleshoot and resolve electronics issues in robotic systems; create test cases for electronics subsystems; work hands-on with hardware and robot systems; create schematics, PCB layouts, and wiring diagrams for production; collaborate closely with firmware, software, and mechanical teams.

Qualifications

Fluency in English; strong expertise in motor control systems (PMSM); knowledge of power electronics including DC/DC converters and battery management; understanding of communication protocols such as Ethernet, CAN, SPI, and I2C; experience with signal analysis and debugging using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers; knowledge of safety standards for high-voltage and high-current applications; experience in thermal management of power electronics; practical electronics building skills; microcontroller programming abilities; harness design and cable management experience for moving systems; proficiency in Altium Designer. Beneficial qualifications include experience in writing requirements and test case specifications, prior work on functional safety projects, familiarity with software engineering tools like git, and SolidWorks Electrical experience.
