Responsibilities

Design, develop, and validate safety circuits and fail-safe mechanisms; review schematics and designs; design and use testing devices; select and integrate electronic components (motors, drivers, sensors, power systems) for optimal performance; contribute to product schematics and design; develop and maintain electrical documentation including BOMs, test procedures, and compliance reports; troubleshoot and resolve electronics issues in robotic systems; create test cases for electronic subsystems; work hands-on with target hardware and robot systems; create schematics, PCB layouts, and wiring diagrams for production; collaborate closely with firmware, software and mechanics teams.

Qualifications

Proficiency in English communication; strong expertise in motor control systems (PMSM); knowledge of power electronics including DC/DC converters and battery management; understanding of communication protocols such as Ethernet, CAN, SPI, and I2C; ability to perform signal analysis and debugging using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers; knowledge of safety standards for high-voltage and high-current applications; experience with thermal management of power electronics; hands-on electronics building experience; microcontroller programming skills; experience in harness design and cable management for moving systems; proficient in Altium Designer; beneficial skills include experience in writing requirements and test specifications, functional safety projects, using git, and SolidWorks Electrical.
