Responsibilities
Design, build, and productionalize deep neural ranking models including architectures like DCN-V2, MMoE, and Two-Tower, ensuring high throughput and low latency. Lead autonomous AI-driven experimentation using large language model coding agents. Innovate feature engineering and model architectures based on cutting-edge research. Maintain production reliability by monitoring model health, drift, and latency. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve search ranking systems and mentor junior data scientists.
Qualifications
Master's degree or Bachelor's with 6+ years experience in CS, Mathematics, Physics, or related field. Minimum 4 years industry experience applying ML in production. Expertise in deep learning ranking methods, machine learning lifecycle, and MLOps tools. Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), SQL, cloud technologies (GCP or AWS), and big data processing. Experience with LLM coding agents and autonomous experiment workflows. Strong problem-solving, ownership, and communication skills in cross-functional teams.
