Responsibilities
Develop high-quality data streaming and analytical software design and architecture. Identify, prioritise, and execute software development life-cycle tasks to deliver real business impact. Own code quality and maintain best practices. Review and understand code from other team members. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend, frontend, product, and external vendors to enhance products.
Qualifications
Extensive backend software development experience (7+ years), preferably in startups. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and provide leadership in a fast-changing IoT environment. Proficiency in Kotlin/Java for backend development. In-depth knowledge of AWS services including ECS, RDS, Cloudwatch, and OpenSearch. Experience with Kafka for data streaming and REST API design principles. Motivation, experience, and willingness to learn are highly valued.
