Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain backend services around banking, transactions, and investing; model complex financial domains maintaining healthy architecture; enhance testing, reliability, and observability; participate in code reviews, incident management, and coordinated software releases; develop and share AI tooling and guardrails with the team.
Qualifications
Experience delivering backend features from concept to production on JVM backend systems (Kotlin/Java with Spring Boot); working knowledge of event-driven architectures and Kafka; strong PostgreSQL and testing skills; effective communication and team collaboration abilities; experience with AI-assisted coding tools and developing reusable AI tooling; fluent English; experience in regulated or safety-critical industries such as fintech or banking is a plus.
