Responsibilities
Lead major team projects and participate in cross-team initiatives related to HR and Payroll products. Provide product feedback and technical solutions. Maintain domain knowledge from product and engineering perspectives. Review code and contribute to shared codebase. Debug and solve technical/business issues. Participate in support rotations, hiring, and RFC discussions. Mentor engineers and propose platform improvements. Design and implement performance-focused interfaces and autonomous agent workflows, ensuring quality through verification loops.
Qualifications
Strong engineering fundamentals with proven experience in building secure, reliable, scalable production systems. Practical experience in designing or improving automation workflows. Proficient with Postgres or similar databases and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins). Demonstrated AI fluency and automation skills. Nice to have skills include Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Next.js, and frontend frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
