Responsibilities
Lead major engineering projects in backend development, contribute to cross-team initiatives, and actively participate in product improvement and technical feedback. Maintain a deep understanding of your domain from both product and engineering perspectives. Review code, debug and resolve technical/business issues, mentor engineers, and propose platform improvements. Develop and operationalize automation and agentic workflows to enhance development efficiency and application reliability.
Qualifications
Proven experience delivering secure, scalable backend systems with strong engineering fundamentals. Practical knowledge of Postgres, CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins), and automation workflows integrating AI capabilities. Ability to think systematically from specification to verification. Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Next.js, and frontend frameworks is a plus. Fluent in English, with no German language requirement specified.
