Responsibilities
Own a product area end to end from prototype through production to iteration with a mobile-first approach. Develop React-based features that are accessible, performant, and consistent with the design system. Extend and maintain shared design system components. Collaborate on API design and optimize client-server data flow. Use and direct AI-generated code responsibly, reviewing quality before production. Implement automated testing and instrumentation to ensure software reliability. Work closely with product leads and analysts to validate features impact through data. Handle live production software, ensuring performance and incident management.
Qualifications
Proven expertise in React with strong component design, state management, and rendering knowledge. Solid understanding of client-server architecture and how browsers interact with backends. Mastery of modern CSS, semantic HTML, accessibility, and mobile-first responsive design. Proficient in TypeScript and experienced in building or maintaining design systems. Comfortable owning end-to-end product outcomes and collaborating cross-functionally with product and design teams. Experience using AI tools deliberately for code generation and quality assurance. Backend familiarity (preferably Ruby or similar) and data-driven product decision-making are advantageous. Fluent English; German language skills are a plus.
